One-liner Wednesday: people can, and do change! Pray!

Upper left hand corner 7 years ago after being booked & arrested for a disorderly intox. Alcohol does not discriminate. I did not always look like that until I allowed alcohol to grab hold of me. I could not live without it. That picture can’t ever be unseen, yet the change in me now is seen! It is real, and known! Here I am 7 years later, and sober! All by the grace of God! I had so many people in prayer for me! Prayer works, Jesus changes!

    1. Well it was definitely not one of my finer days that is for sure. My life was hitting bottom. I praise God I still have that picture to reflect back on. I don’t stare at it, I glance at it. As it is not who I am today. Alcohol does not discriminate, and if you can’t drink like a normal person which I can’t it will ruin lives. I am so blessed to have recovery with God, and my recovery program. God took me from ashes to beauty. He restored the years I allowed the locusts to eat away. I am miracle! I know that for sure, I had no hope. My wall of shame to high to allow God in. Praise God He kept pulling on my heart strings! I knew where to go when I realized how bad off I was. Right to His feet, to the cross! Blessed I am! Thank you for commenting, Lisa 💜🙏🏻
