It was our stop before our date. The whole day was one greatest summer days we had had. We went to the river, home to shower. Then to the park, and out to eat. It was all so lovely. I hope you are doing well. Our city is struggling today as our governor just moved us back to phase 1. I have so many friends who’s unemployment has run out, and now they can’t work again. Praying God intervenes for everyone I know that is hurting right now. My husbands job is essential so I praise God for that. Not every one is the same boat. God bless our world 🌎🙏🏻. Our town is in another lockdown too, Lisa, and many other towns in the u.k. because of soaring deaths from Covid once more. But hang in there as I believe we will all benefit from a vaccine very soon. There’s been recent news of two separate vaccines that have been extremely successful in trials and may be offered to the public by Christmas. It’s the only way we will all be able to resume some kind of normal life. Yes, we’re fortunate too – my husband works in car manufacturing and, if anything, there more busy than ever. Thankfully, conditions in his place of work have been made as safe as possible for them all regarding Covid and he feels pretty well protected. But yes, there are so many others who are suffering badly through this disease – families who have lost multiple members through death, failed businesses and unemployment, mental illnesses on an increase and the poor students locked away in their uni accommodation like prisoners. God willing it will be over soon.
I hope I haven’t made you feel worse! I do believe that, gradually, 2021 will be a better year than this one has been.
