One-liner Wednesday-or better yet maybe even SOAR 🦅

“What if I fall? Oh, but darling what if you fly?

Isaiah 40:31 – But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

7 years, and 4 months ago I fell to my bottom. I doubt anyone ever thought I would make it back up. The rock fell on me, and crushed me. I did rise back up, and with the mercy of God’s forgiveness. I rose with the help of His loving hand. With His grace I soar today! Mine is an ashes to beauty story, and I get to be here to share it today. I chose the little glimpse of hope, and I grabbed onto it with the little strength I could muster. It was then God carried me. Now I am soaring with the Eagles, flying high with God in control of my life.

One-Liner Wednesday – Charlie Brown shouts, isn’t there anyone that knows what Christmas is all about?

Linus says sure Charlie Brown, “I can tell you what Christmas is all about”.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this [shall be] a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

That’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.

One-liner Wednesday: people can, and do change! Pray!

Upper left hand corner 7 years ago after being booked & arrested for a disorderly intox. Alcohol does not discriminate. I did not always look like that until I allowed alcohol to grab hold of me. I could not live without it. That picture can’t ever be unseen, yet the change in me now is seen! It is real, and known! Here I am 7 years later, and sober! All by the grace of God! I had so many people in prayer for me! Prayer works, Jesus changes!
