Like a kid in a candy store, you bet

I was like a kid in a candy store. Entering through the gates of Yellowstone National Park. Squeamish feet, ready to meet my first sight of wild life.

Surreal, the canvas surrounding me. Every catch of my eye, I could barely take it all in. Asking my husband in a childlike voice when do we stop?

And…there it was a field that dreams are made of filled with Buffalo. It was so surreal they were massive animals, and looked so tame. Yet said to be the most dangerous animal on the mountain.

Running from the car up the paved pathway I tripped, and fell hard. Raspberry elbow, knees, and bloodied knuckles. I was quite a sight to see, first aid kits kindly approaching me. I was up as fast as I was down (shook it off no time to fuss). I had to capture these creatures with my eyes, and to no surprise my camera. I was immersed in the most magnificent field of God’s creation. A field of dreams.

Surreal indeed from start to finish. That trip to Yellowstone did not disappoint. From Buffalo, to Buck. The icing on the cake was a Grizzly Bear. All my life living in a state where they are spotted all around. I had never seen one with my own eyes. To not fear it I would have been a fool, but to see the beautifulness it brought me to my knees in pictures take.

My eyes were awake for I was enraptured in God’s creation. Surreal as surreal gets in that park in July with all the memories I left with. You bet I was like a kid in a candy store, nature never fails to impress. God set out to create the very best! Would have been deemed insane not to invest in such a sight.

Entrance to Yellowstone
Closer than I should have been

When I ride I stop often to breathe God’s canvas deep into my skin. The sky with all is its vastness pulls me in. Obsessed

Surrounded by low lying branches, ducking my head. Pushing myself as I see the River that runs alongside me. Rapids of white surrounded by God’s light

When I ride I often stop to see the turtles sunbathing a top the rocks, and ducks swimming in unison through the murky weeds. God has planted his seeds of enchantment

Surrounded by a breeze ever so gentle, yet I sure feel its touch. That wind is like faith. I can feel it, but I don’t know if it will wane or come on strong trusting in the beauty of God’s heart song

When I ride I glide, and I feel so alive. All of my anxieties melt away with each turn of my tire. I feel God’s unconditional love will never expire

Surrounded by other’s eyes set a glow, and smiles so big. I forever PERAMBULATE in God’s truth as I am immersed in it. For me there is no denying He created all that I ride through. His hands have made such a beautiful awe inspiring display. Dismay

This waterfall is part of my everyday ride, I always stop and take it in. Different every time

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1

The tenderness of Spring I am so ready for its sweet sing, Lavenders gait I cannot wait

Inuendos of lavenders footprints, Spring lurks in the bloom

The hues are vast in pastels, my eyes have a path set before my gait

Frangrant at the sides of me sublime as I tilt my head for a scent

All this in my arms reach God made for me to uphold

Not a place my eyes take peak that I can’t see God so unique

Purple, Lavender, Blue, Green, tall trees in the midst of the pallete

My path is set before me seeking God in all His glory

Brushing the limbs with the tips of my fingers in hopes my heart takes remeberance

Soft, a little crunchy is the earth beneath me lavender path

Lavender pathway I giggle with girly enchantment

Can I clip a pinch of purple and wear it as a soldier does, I will give you all praise for my wounds you healed

My wings want to take flight into the forest deep a violet wonderland

Take me, lead me, let me follow for today I am yours, and everyday there after, into Lavenders gait
