August 28 A Photo A Day: Thanking God for what stares back at me today, a vivid reminder of grace right in my face

This is a vivid reminder of God’s grace in my face, what stares back at me that I am okay with today! Praise God for His mercies! In my active alcoholism I was disgusted by my own reflections…

You turn ashes to beauty
Mourning to dancing
Anguish to songs of praisePour your Spirit over me
Let Your love rain down
Would You take these hands of mine
And use me
Pour Your Spirit over me
Let Your love rain down
Would You take these feet of mine
And lead meThe Spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me now
To go, to free, to give, to feed
The Spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me now

The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Aug. 1/2020

More than anything my laugh is deeper, heavier, louder, and bellyaching when I am with my husband. We have so much fun when we are together.

We went to the river today to just relax, and do some snorkeling. I had to use the bathroom. He says, “I think the portapotty’s are right by the canopy.” Such a great play on words. I couldn’t stop laughing, I barely made it to the canopy. 🤣 It really was one of those that smelled like a can of pee, but when you got to go you got to go…

All masked up & ready to go!
Snorkeling fun, River fun

Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “more.” Start your post with the word “more.”
