Ooo, that beautiful book (the Oswald Chambers one) – is it yours?
I won’t say anything about the graffiti on the bench since I (and my then boyfriend) once carved our names on a tree when we were 16. I would never do that now, honest I wouldn’t. 😂
Yes that is my book. I love Oswald Chambers. The graffiti on the bench washed away almost instantaneously, as we knew it would. That is the bench we had our first date at, was asked to be married at, and as well did marry at. That bench is on a high point in our city, that over looks the a valley below. It is beautiful up there, so we used the round about to fill it up with a small group of friends and family. We decorated the bench, and surrounding area. Then married right there at what we call “our bench” the last bench on High Drive. We stop off there quite often to pray, talk, and look at the sunset. It is beautiful!
Oh Lisa, that is so romantic! The powers that be should put a plaque on it with your names. 😃 It’s beautiful that you both have your own special place. 💗

That bench is where my husband and I married. We had our first date there, he asked for my hand in marriage, and then we finally did marry there. 🥰
